Attack Grille Ausf. H: with AB Figures Crew

GRILLE AUSF. H MODEL
Well where can I start with this one? I said to myself when I first started this site I'd be totally honest so I have to say that this model was a nightmare to put together (the Airfix churchil's wheels are childs play compared to this), loads of cutting and filing to get parts to fit properly and sanding the back of parts to take the scale down. I put the kit away a few times for a week or 2 just through frustration. Some of the parts are very poor too (gun barrel, and return rollers) To be honest I'm not so happy how the finished model turned out even with the amount of work I put in.

PAINTING AND DETAILING
Despite the trouble I had with the kit I put a lot of work and detail, into it. I added 4 crew figures (there is a driver in there too!) from AB figures range of panzer crew and many attachents with wire and stretched sprue I also added parts to the interior such as driving area and charts.

Many thanks to Ian Hanratty for taking the pics

CONCLUSION
I think it is safe to say that I will not be building another of these kits in a hurry and this has put me completely off the rest of the Attack 38t based range for the moment.
I don't want to be down on the company too much as they obviously are trying to bring very unique vehicle to the smallscale modeller in plastic but a word of causion this is a reall challenge but if you fancy this vehicle in plastic there are loads of detail accessories now to complement the Attack range (engines, and brass). Me? I'll be waiting to see if this vehicle comes out in resin in 1/72 scale. Sorry for the negative report it is just how I felt about this one.
